  1. Looking for Senn 600 Also short interconnects....0.5m like klotz..something warm/no silver Tks!
  2. These tracks sound great on my AT900 ltd. Track 7 Allegro Molto doesn't appeal to me..scares the sh*t out of me as it goes quiet then extremely dynamic! Looking for well recorded (compilation if any) cds like the sonata track 2 & 5 as well as recordings with flute/strings. Not really into organ unless its some funky Hammond B3 Guess the full orchestral sound is not for me. thanks!
  3. nearly kena squeeze for SGD18 a pair..when I mentioned this forum indicated SGD8, he said his cost is SGD8 & ask for SGD10..looks like only a couple left.
  4. Any kind soul out there can DIY the above for me? tks!
  5. Farting around web in the office, i came across this. Anybody tried one of these? Wonder if it would reduce background noise/hiss in lesser systems or even the CD output jack. "DakiOm Feedback Stabilizer Technology provides variable impedance elements into the circuit’s open-loop gain to detect and steer away from positive feedback conditions allowing true, high quality sound to emerge. "
  6. Looking for the above amps in good condition (SG only) Tks! Hantu
  7. if you like jazz standards, try this "sheila" - Ozzie answer to Norah Jones Dannielle Gaha http://www.hmv.com.au/product/jazzblues.asp?sku=856646
  8. WTB the above amps in good condition
  9. Tried using Senn PX200 listening to Cruise(smooth jazz) and Lush..15-20minutes im turning the vol down..switch to a ahem..Labtec LT-830 not as clear and dynamic but can listen for much longer period. Looks like Grado is the way to go unamped..which model has smoother/more rounded highs? Doubt bringing the DAB tuner for audition will help as im guessing the reception would probably suck at MBD or Stereo Elect. thanks!
  10. basically, checking if anybody currently using the headout on the Pure to gather feedback. Not keen on getting a separate amp to drive the cans though - but open to mods as per effectiveaudio. Reason - just want to maintain the single chassis to reduce clutter. for starters, id say SGD500 tks
  11. Anyone using the headphone out from the above model? thinking of getting a pair of headphones to partner it. Any recommendations? thks!
  12. Came across this at www.audiocubes.com going for USD158 incl shipping to SG For those going for dedicated 2-channel, do you think its a better buy than the EMU0404? Personally looking to upgrade from realtek on board sound. CD/MP3 - Realtek onboard sound- MIC 10W 6V6 amp with headout - speakers - > vocal/jazz Appreciate your feedback prior to taking the plunge
  13. Hi everybody. I'm a newbie requesting some help to zero-in on a new purchase. Budget SGD150 max Source - pioneer AVR headphone out Need cable length of at least 5 metres (a must) for late nite DVD listening Will a trip down to Courts/BEST suffice or will a visit to Sim Lim be necessary? Will consider 2nd hand if convenient. Thanks in advance
