But it isn't a major problem, you can send back to Null Audio for repair, I believe it will be a low cost or free since it's just a minor recabling to make a tight fit. I sent in for repair for the same problem before, great guy and no fuss dealing with him. And I received tons of sms from just this afternoon, asking whether I will sell the Enyo cable only. hmm... If you don't mind a home setup. Marantz CD63/67 T.S. Lim mod for a CDP Then get a decent-good priced tube power and preamp, can even use for speakers next time. And invest in some decent-good interconnects. Able to get some good deals at echoloft for these stuffs.

Alot of ways to improve, most need money though. 1) Rip from CD to 320k or FLAC 2) Get a new earphone/headphone 3) Get an amp The last 2 will not be that priority for your stage now. 4) Get a good quality interconnects 5) Change to a better mp3 player

With that amount of money you can buy a decent-good CD player + headphone amp + Interconnects and power cables + headphones.

Good for you heady! Maybe my ears are more sensitive or my home setup, I can hear the shrill, cause I purposely find those songs with high notes to test the highs for this earphones. Glad you like it dude!
