I never saw anyone using full size headphones yet though. The most is the portable AT ones, foldable kind, not sure the model. Currently, i'm using Grado SR80 or HD580 with PA2V2 on the go though, since I always bring a bag along.

Thanks again! So either the klotz gy107 or the belden 89259 would be good for IC for my overall setup. So now i'm doing a final setup and the cost of it. Power cords 1) Belden 19364 for CDP power cord: $10/m - need 1.5m 2) Belden 83803 for amp power cord: $20/m - need 1.5m 3) UK plug 'hospital grade': $10-13 - need 2 of it 4) Shutter IEC: $5 or less - need 2 of it *thanks again Mackie* Interconnects 1) Klotz GY107: $2.50/m - need 1.8m 2) Neutrik RCA plug: $20 per pair - need 2 pair to make it 4 heads So everything can be bought at either LHS or 2nd level of SLT, and later ask LHS personnel to assemble it for me. So this should be right I guess?

Sound edgy on top end? Meaning abit too bright and too high? So if I get the 19364 for the cdp power cord, but 83803 for the amp power cord, will it suit the overall setup fine? Since you said you usually prefer to partner the 83803 to amps. And for the IC, about those rcaps stuffs. Is there any explanation on the characteristics of different materials? Like neutriks, copper, silver bullets and so? Thanks again all!

There is how many brands of bullet plugs? Which brand have what kind of characteristics? $15-20 each, so RCA-RCA, means I need to get 4 bullet plugs, so $15-20 x 4? Thanks for the help! Ooh. So how much more is the bullet plug than neutrik caps? What's a better power cord than 83803 with $10-20 more? I don't mind spending more money for cables as I know I can reuse later. But I want it to be warmer/dynamic sounding, cause I prefer warmer sounding though. haha! Thanks again!

folgalv: So powercord entry level kind only got belden to choose from? What's the difference between the 2 belden cables? I would prefer a warmer and dynamic sounding kind. Then for the IC, how much is for like example klotz cable + termination with caps? Like neutric caps or any other that is warmer sounding kind? Thanks again! You helped alot!

Hi all. Just got my Marantz cdp and exchanged amp today. Would like to know what kind of power cords and interconnects will be better. Saw Mackie faq thread on interconnects. I think I like the Klotz GY107, but does the power cord of it also same? And where can I buy that? Would like to get 1.5-2m each for the cdp, amp and IC for the RCA-RCA. And how much will it costs? If there is any other more recommends for power cords and IC, I will be thankful! Thanks!
