to see audio technica amp go to www.audiocubes2.com and click headphone amp. but i don't think they fit yon's buget too...... should be over 1k in SGD....... and its AT-HA2002 not AT-HP2002.

how much do you need to know to DIY your own headphone amplifier? What should i be reading for example......time isn't a hugh factor for me, just that i dun know anyone could just built one like that.

You should invest in a good CD player just like the one you currently own in the living hall, like Evil-zen says, "Garbage in garbage out"........ I'm using the Grado RA-1 amplifier, battery operated with 2 9volt batteries...... like the portability of it....... but $300 cannot make it....... unless US dollars Joking.

Stereo at Causeway point. Stocklist of Sony,Audio-Technica,Grado,Technics,Sennheiser,Philips headphones...... With any luck they say, Shure and AKG will be in within the year. The only problem is they dun't offer demonstrations.... but the last time i went over, they set up a Grado SR-60 on demonstration......hope there will be more headphones to be on demo.

Just bought it last week, yes it's made in China.
