  1. Haizz.... more stocks of W5000 and ES7 should be in today, but but BUT, ATH-CK7 still somewhere in the pacific ocean floating.
  2. After much complaints and complaints, I have finally setup a simple demo system for customers to demo and compare different headphones. Source : Cambridge Audio Azur 640C-S Headphone Amp : Musical Fidelity X-Can version 3 Interconnect : Temp cable ( Taralabs Prism 200a ) Area : Where Mackie suggested, near our cable section, at the rear corner. Still running in....... sounds decent.
  3. Just want to know if there is a common size everyone use.
  4. Wait wait, tomorrow I post again, dunno where the pads go....... let you know tomorrow.
  5. By the way, can everyone contribute a bit by sharing what size of earphone sleeves do you usually use?
  6. Audio Technica has some replacement rubber sleeves design for ATH-CK5/CK7, comes in a pack of 3 pairs of the same size (small, medium, large) selling for $10 a pack. Good news is that they will fit your Panasonics HJE-50,HJE-70, Sony MDR-EX71,81,51. We only have them available in black colour, and because it was for sample purposes, I currently have only less than 10 packs of different sizes. Not to worry, more stocks coming in soon.
  7. Yeah, first shipment of the W5000 came in last month, 10pieces in Singapore so we took 5pieces each. More to come maybe next week.
  8. I have some AD1000 earpads for $25 a pair. No stock for the A1000 earpads.
  9. Latest new, K601 has just arrival...... Price is plus plus to $395 Only 8 sets available.
  10. On behalf of Stereo Electronics wish everyone a happy and prosperous Chinese new year.
  11. I have also talk to Asia sound about reducing the prices for AKG K701 and they might revise the price, might only. Stocks arrival for AKG K701 and K601 tentatively after chinese new year. Meanwhile plan how to give less ang pao and collect more ang pao.
  12. Based on this email, the DT-990 is the top end model in terms of sound excellence but capsules as well as the dimensions inside has hardly been modified compared to the predecessors except the electro-plated grill. So even if there were to be improvements sonically, it could only be the grill and the cable. But if it's the top of the line because its more expensive due to the grill and more importantly lower production ( which brings up the cost ), then the DT-880 might still be the preferred choice.
  13. The more you should get the Audio technicas, so in case you head hit onto the window panel, the cans will protect your head like the air bags.
  14. Most home fix diy store would have them.
  15. The picture is a little misleading. There is suppose to have a ear loop somewhere top of the earpad, its a neckband design, so the band is suppose to go behind the neck. As for doubling as a hairband......eh.....
  16. Average US price is $399 which is quite ok..... anyway, most profit must have went to the distributor.
  17. Logitech curve headphone retails for $49 Available in transparent, lime green and translucent black
  18. Finally I have receive confirmation that AKG shipment is on the way, expected to arrive after chinese new year. Price for the K601 should be around $379 plus minus a bit. Price for the K701 should be around $679 plus minus a bit. Due to the limited stocks coming in most customers might have to wait for the next shipment. So much for now, will keep you guys inform once the toys are in.
  19. As yet, I don't think there's such a shop in Singapore yet. A test station like the one in AA is good enough. Actually, noise level in SE is not that high and easily drowned out with closed cans or simply turn up the volume if open cans were tested. I suggest the corner near the cable/rack section of the shop as its fartherst away from service counter. Point taken.
  20. 1 year warranty against manufacturer defect from date of purchase, which means you need to keep your receipt/proof of purchase and send it down to Audio Technica Singapore for any servicing. Address: Audio Technica (S.E.A.) Pte Ltd 623 Aljunied road #04-10 Aljunied Industrial Complex Singapore 389835 Tel: 67495686
  21. I'm looking into this matter maybe after our renovation in march or april, but noise level in the store is still a problem.
