What about retailer mark up? maybe not in this case, but in many cases, I guess so coz in sg, there isnt much to worry about losing customers due to higher price. the customers are happily spending more. as I'm just a poor man here, every difference in pricing is ...different. that's why I like buying online oh, one more thing lately I find that websites are a lot friendlier than humans (shopkeepers, CSOs, etc etc) despite all those, I'm glad to see and meet some good shops around AA, LHS, and Stereo are good. well, how much extra? depends on ur item and you can chk how much the shipping would be for a next day delivery or maybe 2 days at most but for sure it gonna be costly maybe you can try to consolidate another group buy.

Mini-mini canare F-12 using belden cat5E inside 2. Mini-mini of 1m length, using teflon insulated silver plated copper, stranded. then the wires are litz-braided 3. EMU-0404 custom breakout. using the same wire as item 2, also litz-braided 4. recabled a koss ksc35 for new_type (too lazy to type exact nick name of his) using teflon spc too, with neutrik right-angled plug

hmm it depends on how sensitive ur ears are? 20kHz is not that high freq. so, IMO, that's not very crucial what other source of "incoherence" would you think of? easiest way is to take out each of the wires inside the star-quad, then run thru some tests? but some people sure say something like instrument cant measure, but the ears can

ermm yea I just stated that it's not 100% shielded. just to avoid confusion so still, errm no matter shielded or not, mini stereo jack or the 1/4" stereo jack, would not give you any "balanced" connection

define unbalance please AFAIK, balanced connection needs + and - signal for each channel. i.e. Right+, Right-, Left+, Left- the ground doesnt matter any more in a balanced connection your cable, IMO is perfectly fine, it's just that it's not shielded. wat you assume might be just psychological effect
