Same housing but different driver. I find that between those housing,i would take the cx300. Find that the creative ep630 is too muddy. Razer is lacking on something. While the cx300 just fine but not worth it I haven't tried the Edifier H260

Nope. 1st Gen sounds better than 2nd Gen. Ipod Shuffle 1st Gen is the best sounding Ipod that Apple have made.(Forgot who said it.)

1st Gen Ipod Shuffle have better output. Both 1st Gen and 2nd Gen output will have hiss but the hiss is louder in 2nd Gen.

I have only tried the Hornet and the Tomahawk for a while with my ER4s. I prefer the sound from the Hornet but the size of the Tomahawk.
