  1. your dell pda doesn't do the earphones justice lol.... maybe you should get a mp3 player and earphones instead of getting a portable amp (you can get these later if you need one)?
  2. not a fan of creative:)

  7. yea okay my iAudio is repaired! hehe just have to collect it now. talking about batteries... yea i like the T10 because of that
  8. well.... perhaps we all should gather for a m.o. for these speakers. hahahaha. i'd like more bass for my music sometimes, do you think adding the esi sub woofer will help? but if i do that then it wouldn't be "monitoring" or will it be like muddy haha perhaps i could just swtich between speakers...... help anyone?
  9. sorry didn't see this post earlier lol.
  10. i haven't tried the HF1 but i like how it looks. lol.
  11. hey guys i just went down to jaben's today and i decided to audition the nEar 04 speakers by ESI. well... okay i also tested out the Xenos Amp which i am quite interested in and the CK7 of which i really didn't like. but okay so my iAudio U3 broke down as you guys know and using my super old Philips discman... and i had one of my favourite burnt cds. haha then i saw the nEar 04 and 06 speakers on display! haha... i had to test them as i really needed a speaker system to replace my sad (after listening to my wonder ms2 and um1s, the creative speakers just don't meet the cut anymore) 2.1 creative setup. the nEar04 is really small, but surprisingly! the sound that came out of it wasn't what i expected! first impression, small speaker prolly doesn't produce any good sound, no power, low bass. after placing my CD into the CD deck, i was like WAH the nEar 04 is like powerful (for its size)! the sound was clear and crisp really clean, bass wise not as strong as i would like although it still impresses me! its amazingly great to listen to. really good for easy listening i have to admit that the nEar 06 was more powerful and provided a fuller sound, and i think stronger bass too. i found out that, that was because it has 2 amps, one on each speaker. this is not like the nEar 04 that has only 1 amp powering both speakers. now both of them have very similar sound signatures and have left a really good firsts to me. i'm really planning to get the nEar 04 as soon as I can afford them but i'm tempted with the nEar 05s which'll be coming in soon. argh guess i gotta wait till i can test them well i this is just a first take, i will have to go down again to test them maybe another time (and test the 05s too) before i make up my mind, has anyone here tested them out too? comments?
  12. thats true, if you like the sound of the eq then its okaye, but most of the time when i tried to use the preset eq... wah its bad man. i guess if you use the user eq, it might be better but software can only do this much... at the end of the day i guess it still lies in the equipment.
  13. hello, was just listening to my music on lovely ms-2s and i was wondering if there are any others out there who are anti-eq like me. i don't like like winamp EQ or those on mp3 players pre-set EQ, i'd only use the bass booster some times (the iaudio one is quite good it provides gradual bass boost, not like one shot blast to max bass haha). i think that the song should be original and non-eq, paired with a good audio system. what do you think?
  14. haha damn sad now... going to the boon building to repair tmr.... what you using now? i using my CD-player! hahahaha

  17. i had to upgrade to 1.21 then 1.23. the thing is it restarted.... and didn't start. i charged it to full batt before upgrading. i don't know what happened. now even my computer doesn't recognized the player. i cant turn on the player, i tried restart button and all.... nothing. its just DEAD. i heard the only way is to let the battery run out then it will "restart" that takes a month if you had it on full charge. the other way.... change it at the service centre. i scared to upgrade already.... maybe i ask them to do it for me. haha.
  18. my iAudio U3 just got bricked yesterday while i was upgrading the firmware. or should i say, after upgrading. i'm very sad now and i have to use my CD player. does anyone have a solution to this? i'm going to send it to the service centre on saturday. thank god for warranty but i'm so sad about upgrading the firmware and getting it bricked.
  19. Just wondering if anyone wants to sell their Pa2V2. Just PM me with your offers.
