My sennheisers sounds great with piano music, personally the best cans for piano - the problem with the Senns are the cables and upgrading to a better source might also help. A properly recorded piano piece will have transients... and volume to it. I've found that few source or amps can truthfully reproduce this - you will know if you play the piano yourself - there is a big difference between the "upright" & the "grand". Thanks

From where are you going to audit the yeli 8p? Are you going to meet Yeli himself? Do share with us your feeling of this famouse 8p, it's supposed to be very good for low impedance phones, maybe I need to get one for my W1000? But it's sounds like quite hard to get. I was told that the Yeli on demo was personally handcrafted to order from Shanghai, with no less than a dozen tubes I guess. Looking forward to ABing! YeeHaa!

I'll be making a personal trip up north to China to audition a few head amps - Opera's Cyber 20, Yeli 8P, Cayin's HA1 and possibility the T-2A all at once. Might even carry them all back with me if they meet the minimum listenable challenge. BTW how much did you pay for the T-2A tee? Knowing the trade n custom regulations in China, there are alot of hi-end equipment that do not travel out of the country, not even to HK - maybe under different specs or brands. I will definitely be ABing all the amps with my RKV that will be arriving this week.

Just to check if there is any interest in the Cayin Tube Headphone Amp in Singapore, price should be new at about S$600-700 excluding freight
