Got my 2nd Gen 8gig Nano and SF5Pro from Stereo just now. Along the way home, Apple delivery called and say they are on the way... Whee~~ Everything came today! 1st Gen 2gig White Nano (Refurbished) 2nd Gen 8gig Black Nano Ultimate Ears Super.fi 5 Pro The refurbished iPod was packed with the same box as the refurbished Shuffle. I thought they made a mistake initially... The refurbished iPod is clean, wrapped and NO scratches! Almost like new! Changed my SF5Pro transparent cables to the black one so as to go along with my black Nano. Thank you Aron, have to bother you even when u are having OFF day. Alright... charging time... will post pics later

hmm.. i also came from LDM+ to PA2v2 it is indeed true that the PA2v2 has alot more bass than LDM+ and yet not losing its clarity LDM+ has indeed a clearer sound but just lack the bass i think it really depends on wat kind of music u listen inorder to determine the amp u wan to get

i'd go for IEMs too

i'm tempted to change as well but my creative is like not very selling haha~ a sudden plunge of $100+ sounds fishy eh... was thinkin to add on purchase the AppleCare plan the savings of the player can top up for this...

yeap i'm actually selling the LDM+ to find new amps that are more towards bass... missed the previous PA2v2 that was on sale at Classifieds. anyway to get new or other recommandation?

i'm using LDM+ with Ultimate Link Lady Misty custom made by Aron. i'm using the line out from Creative Zen Vision. i'm missing bass here. Its there but the high treble seems to have covered the bass... i'm bass heavy person listening more to hip hop, techno, rock/metal, r&b and bossa nova... wats wrong with my setup?

used the LDM+ a few times with the Aurvana it indeed does sound better in terms of treble vocals are clearer but the bass is somehow soften can't feel the punch as compared to direct connection to earphone out but amping with Aurvana does bring the sound out sigh.. wat a dilemma... crossroads amps are better in bass? hmm... time to do damage again...

well that is true though.. but like i've said.. they already called me up for exchange of the correct player. my old player is beyond repair(HDD failure) they took a brand new set, of the shelves, open it right in front of me and gav it to me so fair twice... Creative has not let me down on thier service

i'd hav ran! but creative was so afriad that i might spoil the player (since they say they bear any damage to the player incurred by me) that they call on on sa morning stating that they have 1 white set for replacement. Ask me to go down for the swop!. hahaha!

ok.. in the end i think creative is scared that i spoil the Zen Vision. called me up in the morning sayin that replacement set is here. ask me go down change back! hahaha... now i got back wat i initially bought

hmm.. that might be true for a player which is around 1 to 2 year old. and also there has been rumours on the 60gb version for both the Vision and Vision:M. but nontheless... i'm still pretty happy with the service! oh yah.. Off Thread abit... i wld like to thank Aron for customizing the IC for me. the cable is of great workmanship! (Finally purchased something from your shop! LOL)

charging the unit now.. on the way back already drained it playing FM Radio played those bundled soundtracks in the player with the aurvana clarity is there, but lacks bass... i think its becos of the aurvana bah somemore the aurvana not burned in also... will update soon...

went to the Marina Sqaure branch to collect my Zen Vision M which suffered a HDD failure. Pushed the CSO for days and finally they agreed to replace a new set for me. So i went down today. To both me and the counter staff surprise, the HQ sent the wrong player. They sent the Zen Vision instead! Realising its a wrong player, the counter staff checked for me and called HQ. I told myself how nice if the replacement set was that... the counter staff came out and told me that, YES, indeed they made a mistake. As the stock for ZVM has ran out in thier HQ Store so they replace a ZV for me at no extra cost! They ask if i'm willing to accept this..OF COS LAH!! i'm was so happy man.. hahaha... though its a bigger player but it will "encourage" me to watch more anime on the go! they also state that "IF" somehow i dun "enjoy" that player, i can go back to them with the player, within the warranty period, and exchange for the ZVM!! the best part is... i will not be liable for any damage incurred on the Zen Vision when i decided for an exchange... as the counter staff said "its our fault anyway..." with a smile... this is really good customer service!!!

yes i like the SF5pro too! hoping to get them when i got back...
