its good for 2 channel abit too bright for some pple. it really brings forward the sound. and definitely not as warm as Envy 24 chips based cards I've owned EMU 0404 and terratec DMX Fire LT before and I sold off the EMU 0404

saw them selling at tat chuan audio at $720. personally never try them before....but i bet its not a great difference from the legendary Klipsch Promedia THX 2.1 which u can get abt $200+

bro problem is for nEar 04, u need to be at the "sweet spot" to enjoy the presence of the speaker. I mean if u r gonna fill a room with music, these speakers wun do that job. hope i dun offend anyone.pls comment

bro, the tube sound plugin adds more distortion and softens the clarity. IMO it kinda sucks when compared to a real tube amp.

Did you add in the tube sound plugin for foobar2000? that makes it sound really good. bro my MS2i also sound very good liao......u using MS PRO so should sound even better but yeah using it with my laptop and audigy 2 ZS PCMCIA. I played an original HDCD and was wowed by its clarity. Nearly cried Yup no need portable amp thats the nicest thing. If have also very minor marginal difference cos I tried with a tube amp before

a headphone amp is not really necessary for my alessandro MS2. I've consulted Wilson and understood that for a 32ohm low impedence headphone to be able to connect to my Muvo TX FM, its simply fabulous. A headphone amp is juz a waste of $$ in my opinion too in my case. btw will u be buying the DJ? what headphones are u currently using? maybe a user review would be nice

I would say the indigo DJ cost > $300 since i've emailed the distro and was quoted at $290 for IO (single output) yeah i do agree audio clarity is very subjective, sometimes changing the headphones u can hear great difference while changing the sound card u hear little difference. Yeah so to each his own...most impt is u can appreciate the improvement in the audio heard

Hello everyone. I've juz bought my 1st cans from Wilson of Jaben for my 1st visit to his shop its working great on my IBM T42 laptop which is also using Audigy 2 ZS PCMCIA. Well the cans sound damn good !!! but I was wondering if I should try Echo Indigo IO or a new USB DAC which IMO Jaben might be bringing? Since my Audigy 2 ZS PCMCIA has a built-in amp & DAC...wun it be an "overkill" thanks everyone for their feedback
