MS1 is able to deliver jazz and classical, it will sound clear highs more than you require but not so much on punchy bass. No comment on audio technicas as i have noy heard them before. For me the best headphones in this price range is Grado SR60, coz i can't hear the diff between SR60, SR80 and MS1 But best is to head down and listen to your ear! Happy listening

What can we expect if there is a bad power source? Maybe what we can do is to trace all the shared power point, listen hard to our fav song with all shared power point switch on, be it a tv, fan, laptop...and listen again with everything along the line off to spot a diff. That's what i'm going to try with my mum sleep

All depend what kind of music you listen to. Go down to try out SR60/80 or MS1. All under your budget. But these phones are kind of bright for some. Cheers

I use AFA power extension tray, Russ Andrew Yellow power cord and a QuiteLine. Is this power conditioner? i can't feel any improvement in sound but they does look damn good. Heard from some friend it's useless coz the power socket is shared along with other electrical stuff in the house. Unless it's a dedicated power supply direct from the db box w/o sharing power point in other room. What do you guys think?

$39.90! I got mine in one of the shop in SLS for $59.90! and he told me no warranty somemore. That was my first can and before i know of this forum.

Think the difficult part is to remove the can in order to reach the driver.

No it's burning in or what some call run in. But do be very careful with some tracks, they may be too bright and high that they seems able to BURN the driver for good! Check out all tracks or play in low vol only. Cheers

Finally went down to Jaben on Sun, listen hard, find that the improvement over SR80 is worth the money and got myself MS2I. Saw a few of you guys but didn't get your names. Now burning in on my XLO burn-in cd And Uncle Wilson is indeed friendly. Appreciate for all your advice, now saving up for next project - Amp! Cheers.
