I seen many cranking their volume so high that you can actually listen to what they are listening across the mrt seats lol. Though I think it still cant beat one guy using ibuds on such a loud volume that i can actually listen to what his playing (Heavy Metal) like 3 seats away lol.

Clip on usually dont cover enough of your ear to really isloate anything. Maybe you can try headphones that clamp/hang on your ear tat goes behind your head as they wont mess ur hair. Those have slightly better isloation though i dont think much lol. Cranking up volume to isloate? If its in the MRT tunnel, they will need an amp on high gain blasting all the way

a Xenos-REP isnt bad too and its slightly over 100 . You have to test for yourself though. I have the same headphones as you hehe

If u noticed things in US tend to be slightly cheaper. BTW the harddisk in US may be made from elsewhere leading to a cheaper price. Online shops also tend not to pay tax and after tax it may be slightly higher + not forgetting shipping. Though I still think SG prices are slightly higher but tat may be because singapore market is small and demand isnt high enough to ask for a lower price.

Regarding the less batt drain, Im not sure if it drains less. The lineout blast the music at full str from the line out in both zen vision and ipod. You need an amp to actually control the volume. Personally I like the zen as i feel its is warmer.

crescendo-i is made for the ipod The line out is better then the normal headphones out in the ipod unit but you will need an amp to control its volume. Crescendo is more for the normal mp3 players with no line out or creative players which uses the stereo jack type line out. Same cables just different purpose. I use the crescendo i with my ipod nano but i still think my zen vision line out is better

If i remember right, I paid extra for 2 batt and shipping which adds up to 390+ USD. If pay by paypal using their conversion rate and stuff, its 649 SGD. The batt they give is 1 250ma and 1 270ma rechargable. Amps kinda kill off some portablity. Hornet itself is probably one of the smaller ones. Xin super mini and micro are very good if you can spare the cash, need quality and want portable amp. To say I hear more difference using a better amp then upgrading an IEM I not getting myself a cdp cause I spend most of my time in camp lol. Looking for a good pdcp with lineout though.
