  1. Actually ordering from pricejapan would be a good alternative. Prices of MDs in Japan are dropping and so it's cheaper than before. Best of all, you just need to make payment at our local Citibank to complete the transaction.
  2. There was this guy selling on eBay Singapore. He's had a few RH10 in black that's good for recording. I've bought one from him at $200 when he listed for $230~280 so do bargain with him abit since very very very few Singaporeans buy MDs nowadays. RH10 can be connected to PC easily but you need to install the latest Sonic Stage version 3.4 to enjoy most of the benefits. Edit : This shouldn't be in the classified section.
  3. Deinel, You should audition the cans first and I believe Stereo Electronics at Causeway Point would have the cans available for you to try. Bring your RH910 along and some of the discs that you are really familiar with whilst using the SR60 with the RH910.
  4. It sucks that Sony is only releasing the LP version instead of the SL. Can't use it on my portable MDs and CD player.
  5. hi all, I'm looking for a particular Sony MD player MZ-E10. If you have one to let go, please PM me. Thanks for viewing!
  6. hi Stereo Electronics, Would it be possible to notify me once the Sony MDR-CD900ST is available at your shop? Thanks! BTW, Akihabara mentioned the model being MDR-CD900ST but the pics refer to EX90SL. I've attached the pics below (courtesy of Akihabara News): Courtesy of Akihabara News

  9. Chris, So do we believe the reviews you wrote in HWM? Just joking! Keep up the good work. Are you trying to establish an audio section in the mag itself? Sorry for being off the topic.
  10. if you know of any cheaper source, do share with us, else we've got no choice but to accept the prices set by koba.
  11. Ernest of New Disc Village might have red shrink tubes as well.
  12. Red shrink tubes from Robert LHS, Sim Lim Tower 2nd floor.
  13. Could you show us the inner details?
  14. hi Charismatic, Could you PM me the price of the Zu/Mobius or is it the same as that stated in this thread?
  15. Mackie, Any idea where I can get these pads? From Anything Audio?
  16. Ben, thanks for the thought! I will check with MbD then.
  17. I meant bright as in "bright", in other words, a comparatively increment in the treble. I wonder if MBD/Coherence Audio allows trial of the cable, even if it's just right on the spot? I would at least have a clearer idea.
  18. hi crippledchicken, have you tried putting a contant current diode across the Vout and V- of the OPA627? It's one of the method documented in Tangent Audio about biasing the amp into class A. I'd performed that mod to good effect. It's about 3 plus per piece at Farnell.
  19. Ok, I confess, there's one thing I don't like about the DT150. I absolutely HATE the "pleather" (if that's what it's called) earpads. They are horrible!!!
  20. For your info only. There's a set of Meier Audio Corda HA-1 Mk II on sale at Audio Note, priced at S$395. Check out Meier Audio Corda HA-1 Sale
  21. hi Ben, Have you tried the HD650 with the Cardas? I wasn't looking for a "bright" presentation, so Zu may not be the right choice for me.
  22. hi Brandon and Charismatic, Mind if I join you for the A/B session? I'm considering both cables so this would be a good oppportunity for me.
  23. Glad to know that you guys are begining to appreciate the DT150. I've been using it for the past 2 years and I've been favouring DT150 over the DT880, to the point that I sold off my DT880. I was perhaps a bit "extreme".
