Looking for a budget home audio system. I am currently using an Altec Lansing ACS54 4.1 speaker system. But I felt that, in order to enjoy real good music, I need headphones! I was recommended with AKG K81DJ as it suits my budget. I have tried it, not too bad, pretty bassy which I prefer. But was wondering if there is any other headphones that is within my budget of $100. I also wonder whether amplifiers really improve the headphones performance. If yes, possible to recommend some entry/mid level amplifiers? Is it wise to buy a portable amplifier for home usage? On top of that, does anyone know any online stores which I can view the items? Preferably those located in Singapore for easy price reference. Thanks. (One thing to note, I normally listen directly from my computer which has a Creative Audigy 2 ZS soundcard.)
