the ones from stereo are for diying, but you must specify to them that it is for diying, if not they will give you the one with the female output
  3. get it as in you want the plugs? just pm me with ur contact and how many you want and i'll contact you.

you can get them from stereo electronics, about 8 bucks per piece and saves you the hassle of importing urself
  5. hmm, i think it will be tight but should be fine, the vampire cables that i fit in are probably 18 awg, and i manage to fit in 3 with some difficulty.
  6. its kind of in the middle of both i think, if you are referring to the large opening neutrik plug that is.. definitely larger than the small wire outlet one. I managed to squeeze 3 wires of the vampire cable that ALO uses though, if that helps in anyway.
  7. hi all, i have just got the plugs from dav jones, each piece is 4 bucks, but i've only got 40 to spare right now, another 50 is with the shop in SLT, if there is a neeed, i will go get the rest of it, currently, due to capital constriants, i only have 40. interested parties please state ur names down and the amounts you want. current situ: 22 left updated whenever there is change
  8. Well, on the other hand i was hoping for someone to help me import... dav jones seem to take forever to reply, i've left my phone no and email with them and apparently they haven't got any info yet... wkwlb, maybe you can help us all.
  9. seems like dav jones tech only has that white mini plug, if we were to get them to import the other, we'll probably need another 50.
  10. i'll check it out for you, but so far i've only seen the other one.
  11. hi guys thanks for replying, i'm still waiting for them to get back to me, i will go down to their shop this weekend to get info on the price, i will try to get it posted asap... wkwlb: which plugs are you referring to? got pics?

hey guys, any of you have any idea where to get black ipod docks?
  14. alright bro, i'll take a ok3 for the moment, might be getting more after advertising to my friends. thxs for organising man. i've been looking forward to this. If there is a further 20 %, i may consider the ok2
  15. you're the man dude, thanks for the MO.
  16. alright, i'll take the risk, give me a pk1.
  17. if you don't mind open earbuds, try yuin pk2, a little off ur budget but they are very value for money
  18. AKG studio k141, k240, and MS1, i have an ms1 personally and have tried the the other 2. MS1 has a pretty decent bass response for a grado/alessandro headphone compared to the rest while the other 2 being closed have great bass. In addition to that, the akgs are pretty comfortable too.
  19. is there any info on the build quality of the pks? cos i bought a pk2 the last time and i wasn't very happy with the rubbery wires. ==mod edit== Hi, no discussion please in Classifieds. You can post comments in the Portable forum, for example.
  20. i suggest the fc7 for ur 3 girls, depending on whether they like bass or go for more clarity. Should any of them desire clearer sound (listen to classical music) you should consider the i-grados or grado sr-60. the fc-7 has generally very heavy bass which in a sense compromises on the clarity. If u want to try them urself, you can go to stereo electronics (causeway point), jaben (adelphi). There are some shops on the 3/4 level of sim lim sq that allows you to try as well, gd luck.
  21. the rubbery wires, and the wire-jack connection wasn't properly sealed, the ones i got from jaben are better--plastic wire isulation, and the wire-jack connection is well sealed. As for sound quality, perhaps its a matter of taste, but i think the highs/mids/bass is just about perfect for me, maybe a little more bass would be better. Its well worth the money though
  22. well, its pretty good, the clarity is there, a little lacking on the bass compared to my previous pk3. The quality of the build of this set is not as good as the one i got from jaben though... but its a great deal though. thanks for organising this group guy dude
  23. adelphi, a few shops hold them, 4th floor, jaben also
