  1. Check headfi.org when its up & running again..
  2. I used the SA5000 with my Bada12 tube amp & they mate very well together..
  3. Yeah.. I hear the PRAT on the Denons are incredible.. Musical, involving.. I still need to get me a pair..
  4. Night & day.. from my experience the differences were subtle but noticeable. Certainly not worth the 150.00 price tag I paid for it.. You are better off getting the Zu/Moon audio/apuresound/ or stefan arts 650 cable.. My F*** up.. I had Cardas on my mind..
  5. Its still about preferences.. I know a few people who don't like the E9's at all & feel they sound like a 700.00 headphone instead of a 1,500 headphone. I'd still like to hear one to see what the fuss is about.. Personally I think Ultrasone headphones are the FOTM.. Early on at Headfi I asked about Ultrasone headphones, most responses were very negative.. Then all of a sudden they are the greatest thing since sliced bread.. No.. They reail for 1,500. You can get them for around 1,100 at Northern lights..
  6. I have the DT880 & 650's.. Musically the 650's destroy it.. But the DT880's are incredible for movies.. The 650's have globs of detail.. Balancing them really helps along with Alexs mod..
  7. Oddly enough, I find my DT880's to be non musical, boring, lifeless, & lacks emotion.. But it's soooooo smooth & relaxing.. & dialouge for films on this can is simply amazing. The highs sparkle, with great air & clarity.. & has a great headstage.. The music is pushed forward so the music fels like its coming not from your headphone but the space in your room.. For movies, these are the best cans I ever used.
