  1. Thanks but I've checked and it's not listed on Pioneer Singapore website. In fact they only list a couple of earbuds. I was hoping some store might have brought it in themselves. Even local brand Creative don't sell their full inventory of products here...so sad. I'm also interested in this: Creative Headphones HQ-2300D.
  2. Anyone knows where to view, audition and buy Pioneer SE-DIR800C or any other wireless cans with Dolby surround sound decoding? TIA
  3. KCS75 good enuf for u? Recently I passed my underutilised ksc75 to my gf. Then I told her to try my MS1 which I said was better than the ksc75. Imagine my surprise when she said the ksc has more clarity than my MS1. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that ksc75 is an extremely value-for-money pair of phones.
  4. Hahaha...thanks for the reply but its too late. Coz I just bought the car. Still running in the engine but FC is comparable to 1.5-1.6 cars like Impreza and Vios...around 11-12km/L. Never have a problem with cornering yet. Some cons are perhaps the stiff sports suspension and cheap interior. Oh and it isn't just auto. It comes with a steer-shift mode similar to Alfa's tiptronics. I would say it's a fun car...but not so suitable as a family car.
  5. Anybody driving this car or test drove it before? Any comments on it?

    Koss KSC75

KSC75 sells for $20 + tax in the US, so maybe work out the converted SGD equivalent and try and bargain close to that? Just a suggestion...

    Koss KSC75

Thank Mackie for the comparison with KSC35. I had been to busy to do the comparison myself. I do agree that it's a great budget phone!
  8. Just saw a guy listening to his Grado SR80 at Coffee Bean @ Great World today. First time I ever saw someone using a decent can on the streets. Means I probably need to get out more....

    Koss KSC75

Hi guys, I'm returning to Singapore this week and there won't be enough time for me to order the KSC75 and receive them before I leave US. So for those who're interested, I hope you can find someone else to help you with it. Sorry abt it.

    Koss KSC75

Yes I should actually. Anyway having letting the KSC75 run the whole night and then making another few minutes of comparison, here's more info on their difference. The PX200 has that very slight edge in details as well as slightly more punchy and tighter bass. But having said that, the KSC75 still sounds more natural and airy in comparison. That and it's nice comfortable fit, it will not cause as much fatigue to your ears as the PX200 over long periods. I always had to take my PX200 off after 1-2hrs to give my ears some rest. I'll see how the KSC75 holds up to my MS-1 and KSC35 when I get back to Singapore.

    Koss KSC75

I think I should just let some of you guys audition it when I get back. That way, others can get a real idea how good/bad it sounds. Just let me know when there's some sort of gathering and I'll bring it along. Anyway, since it's hard to even find the KSC75 in stores around the US I doubt it'll hit Singapore soon. I got mine off the Koss website and it arrived in 2 days. Of course that's because I live in the land of Koss (Wisconsin).

    Koss KSC75

You know, I don't really know off hand. That's why I didn't want to compare them, but I can do a comparison once I get back to Singapore. There was a comment on Head-Fi about the KSC35 having better mids than the KSC75 but similar highs and lows. I don't think the difference is great though if there is any. However I can quite safely say that I'll stick to my KSC75 rather than KSC35 just because they look much nicer, feels more comfortable on my ears which negates whatever little superiority in SQ the KSC35s have over the KSC75s.

    Koss KSC75

Hi guys, Below is my 1st attempt at reviewing and posting a set of cans so please be gentle. I just received them in the mail 2 hours ago. The KSC75 came in one of those nice retail clear plastic casings. Inside was the KSC75 and Koss’ limited lifetime warranty. Note that any comparisons with the KSC35 is from my memory until I can get my KSC35s back from my family members. Looks & Build: (compared with KSC35) The KSC75 looks more trendy and aesthetically better designed than the KSC35. The driver/casing is silver/grayish in color which I definitely prefer over the dull KSC35 design. The ear clip is a metal wire frame encased in a rubber material similar to most spectacle frames. The metal wire frame enables me to bend the ear clip to fit over my ear nicely. I luv it! I had no trouble putting the KSC75 on whilst with the KSC35 I had to take quite some time to get a nice fit. I tried shaking my head a bit to try and loosen the hold of the KSC75 but it never did come off. KSC75 wins this category hands down. Comfort: (compared with KSC35) Again because you can adjust the wire frame on the KSC75, you can make sure it stays comfortable on your ears. Not with the KSC35 though, I have yet to listen to the KSC75 for any extended periods so no chance to review how comfortable it gets over time. (Only just got it 2hrs ago) I’m guessing with the KSC75 being so light, you can practically wear it for hours. Of course you need to make sure the wire frame is adjusted properly. KSC75 wins....again! Sound: (compared with PX200) As I have said before I do not have the KSC35 at the moment so I do not want to compare with the KSC35 from memory.(maybe I can make a comparison in 2 weeks) So I’ve compared it with my PX200 which I think does not make good comparison because there’s a difference in price as well as one being closed and other being open. Anyway, I played a few pop songs from my Sony Clie and Panasonic PCDP and listened to both PX200 and KSC75. From my amateurish ears, they sounded almost the same. The only difference being the sound stage which is better for the KSC75, probably as it’s open. Sorry, I’m no audiophile. I guess the with the bass sounding the same as the PX200 it has to be a good thing as from my knowledge closed phones have better bass. One thing to note about the KSC75 though is that it is so open that you should only listen to it in a fairly quiet environment. Also, the KSC75 is very easy to drive and with my Sony Clie set at the ½ way point of the volume control it was already quite loud and I could hear the music a few feet away. A tie with my PX200. Initial Conclusion: I like the KSC75 a lot! With better looks and comfort level compared to the KSC35 and sound quality similar to my PX200 I think it’s worth every single cent I paid for. (Which was just US$15 after the 25% discount coupon) Maybe I’ll post some pics when I get the time….as well as a sound quality comparison with the KSC35. Somehow I think my amateurish ears will not be able to tell them apart, but I’ll give it a shot. Once again I’m sorry if I’ve not done a good job at reviewing the KSC75, this is my 1st time reviewing and actually posting it. Mod edit: This thread is flagged in the forum's articles/reviews section.
  15. Only just ordered it today so I'll probably get it in the next few days. And I'll have no way of comparing with my KSC35 which I left in Singapore. That'll have to wait till I get back to Singapore.
  16. Hi guys, Just to let everyone know that I just received an email from Koss for a 25% off coupon - 101804. I'm sure it'll come in handy if there's another mass order of KSC35 or even KSC75. Just got myself a KSC75. Forgot to add in: It expires 31st Oct. 2004
  17. Just wondering, but if you use OPA637 are you not more or less confined to using the amp at home than being portable?
  18. Guess I'll just grab a plainview from Norm then....thanks guys.
  19. I'm probably getting one from Norm before I return to Singapore at the end of Oct. Oh, by the way...does anyone know if I can get Plainviews in Singapore? Or perhaps any other good found-in-Singapore brands....
  20. Hi, I sorry if some of you guys didn't like my way of trading here. But I hope you understand that being the 1st to express an interest doesn't mean you get 1st refusal. Unless of course everyone made the exact same offer. If someone made a higher offer I'm sure it's within my rights to sell it to them instead right? Actually, my supposedly "Ebay-style" auction wasn't much different from how transactions are done here or at Head-Fi. All interested parties make their offer and I sell it to the 3 highers bidders. As no one knows the current highest bid, they will bid what they think is their highest reasonable amount. This way, both parties are happy. Anyway, thanks for all the interest in my KSC-35s. The auction for KSC-35 has ended and I will contact the 3 successful bidders asap..
  21. Anybody interested in the MS1? I'm sure it's not available here in Singapore
  22. I'm sorry guys for messing this up. I've never sold stuff here before. Anyway, everybody asked about my price but almost nobody offered a price so I decided on the Ebay-style. As for the bidding, I intended it to be private and therefore bidders offer a price which they think it's reasonable and I will sell to the 3 highest offers I received before the dateline I set. Is this fair guys? I'm sure you guys will understand that I want to get the best price for these phones. Please make a better suggestion if you think it'll benefit both parties. Meanwhile, my non-transparent bidding shall go on. Please do not place bid/offer here, but email me instead. (ginola_no14@yahoo.com)
  23. Hi guys, thanks for all the enquires on the KSC35. Most of u wanted to know how much I want to sell them for so I've decided to list them Ebay style with starting bid at S$50. I will accept all bids before 2359hrs Sunday 28/12/03. I will contact and sell to the 3 highest bidders. As these are brand new phones and I've never tested them so I'm not sure if there's any clicking noise which some of u asked about. Starting Price: S$50 Ending Time: 2359hrs 28/12/2003 Sunday p/s: I might be a little slow in replying to some of you as I do not have immediate access to internet.
  24. I have 1 used Alessandro Music Series One phone and 3 brand new Koss KSC-35 phones which I'm thinking of selling. [AVAILABLE] Alessandro Music Series One: I have the 1/8" version with the converter. It was purchased in August 2003 and very seldom used (~20hrs). I also have extra new-in-packaging Sennheiser H-19545 pads for it. [ALL SOLD] Koss KSC-35: I have 3 NIB KSC-35s which are intended as gifts but I will sell them if I can get good offers for them. Please email me for all enquires/offers instead of pm. ginola_no14@yahoo.com
  25. Hi guys, if you had used or is still using a ANC phone can you give a short view on how good or bad it is? Please only compare it with other ANC because they'll never hold up to the ER4. The head-fiers always compare it with very expensive passive noise phones and it was hard to get a comparison between different ANC phones. Thanks.
