  1. hmm? i heard some1 talking bout my 3 cans? for beyer dt 880 600 ohm it is an old hag to drive it even for it's amp the beyer A1 couldnt drive to my expectation like my beyer is sleeping....havent woke up fully very sluggish and slow....high and low is not to my expectation...it is different when i tried with the EAR HP4 ....omg the soundstage is like Hi Fi speakers (electrostatics range) and kidult, jojo and me was shocked that it can beat all our high ends cans....Ed9,Hd650 modded and audio technica W5000 .... akg 701 however the is 1 weakness i dun like is the high sibliance and has polite bass and very cold soundsignature ....u need a solid state amp to make it more dynamic but in cost of highs and the sibliances and very very cold... that y i got it recabled and drivers modded ....it gave me more deeper bass and more tamed highs and not so dry soundstage...i going back to kl to grab it and hopefully it can wow me....since my friend did 7 times modding the damm akg for me ..... the senheiiser valgrind modded hd650 is my favourite when it is paired with B22 with XLR..... i think hd600 and hd650 will fly with any balanced amp i thinking in a long run i will be getting a balanced amp and have all cans recabled to XLR... Beyer i sending back to recable and have it run on dual entry cable like the senheiiser and making it easily to drive and improve the mids and more wider soundstage in a short sentence, if u getting a beyer dt880 600 ohms, akg 701 and senheisser hd650.... make sure u get a very very powerful amp to drive them......all of them r high impedance cans except for the akgs which has the lowest efficently.... akg goes well with heedcanamp, stello hp amp, cayin hp amp and some tubes amps beyers well unless u have deep pockets dun get the 600 ohms, get the 250 ohms for easily to drive and spare yur wallet ....beyers goes extremely well with tubes amps senheiiser hd600 and hd650 well u need recable to get the best performance out of them ..better if u get a balanced amp to go with them.. they will show u the true side of senheiisers...

  4. if u looking for warm, musical soundsignature the silver ref with all the z1 and zII r the way to go.... very rich i would call it with my beyer and hd650...very warm, details and draw u into listening mood CRAZY full range!!!!! for neutrality and soundstage is the oyaide tunami r-7 with z1 and silver ref .... too bad the z11 is not long enough to pair with my dac or it will be in full midrange and upper high will excel and will cover my amperex tube 's weakness the rolled off highs havent finished burning it yet.... balanced and neither too forward or laidback but with power and full mid and lower range extension high is good but not as good as the 1st pairing with blacksands.... woke my beyer up and fed it with steroids...... within my observation, if u like warm then the wattgates iec and plugs is for u.. for neutrality and soundstage change the plugs to oyaides 004 for it... u can't go wrong with silver reference....it is a DAMMM goood cable..... now aledi borrow it from Jojo and testing my rigs with it..... ..i almost crapped my pants when i put my telefunken back in...... best pairing that i found out.... cdp-blacksand Zi or tunami Gpx-R for quietness and clean soundsignature...Jojo and the guys can attest to it...lol xindak dac- telefunken 6922 =silver reference or amperex 6922 HP = blacksand zII ( i keep trying different combination for it but the worst tubes is the Eh6922) yuck ! little dot mk4se- western electric 403 B/ mullards m8100 / G.Elect 5 stars = oyaide tunami r-7 for neutrality and dynamic soundstage / silver reference for warm ,rich and great full range
  5. hahaha the blacksand silver reference is a truly a beast...... i got shocked by it and it is all blacksand from z1 ,zII to silver reference from amp, my dac and to yur cdp.....the best synergy i heard with different cans watever u pair with it audiotechnica w1k, hd650, beyers, akgs and rs-1 sorry lol but since akg and rs-1 i heard b4 with blacksand V1 and i can attest that silver reference have the charactestic of Z1 and dynamics power of oyaide Gpx with wider soundstage of it as well... fast, rich , lush, perfect balanced on both sides and no grain or muddy at all , laidback, and the power is there to drive my cans to max... i wondered how it will fare with oyaide 004 plugs ......
  6. hmm solo was great with senheisser espically hd600 and hd650..... but when i changed to akgs and beyer... well it doesnt wow me as much as the sen did... so if u have sen and prefer sticking to it then solo is for u..novo on the other hand is not bad but i found it not dynamic and open as the it's bigger brother the solo....less soundstage and not as refined as solo...and not so warm as novo ...it is a fast amp compare to novo very prat! of cos i am part of group who tried the solo with kachui and jojo went back again last week to do throughall audition with my 2 cans but
  7. if my sonic memory not wrong.. i tried with vic's vahalla with my shure se530 with my jellyfish side by side it gave me more wider soundstage, more musical and bass and high extension is simply breathtaking for my shure to handle....about 500 hours burn in that time.. it aledi become a bottleneck for my shures lol
  8. we should have a powercords meet hahaa i will pass my tunami gpx-r to u for trying hmm i can bring my dac for testing as well since the amperex is not fully burn in and it's shocked me straight away with upper highs extension and dynamic's deep bass
  9. wah u starting a blacksand collection there jojo? lol the blacksand silver reference mk5..... how is the sound signature compare to previous siblings....zI and zII i tempted to get it jus to pair with white snake...... i need some powerful powercord to balanced out the mids and extension on the both sides.......and more warmer and musical to hear..... jus changed the tubes for my dac to amperex and omg!!!! the deep bass extend to crazy level and high is way off the chart without any grain!!! and midrange bloom and the transparency as good as telefunkens...crystal clear with both great extension high and lows and no noise hum.... i cant believe amperex jus beat telefunken i had burning for 1 month....
  10. my white madam snake aledi reached 100 hours aledi omg!!!!!! i think i heard something unnoticeable when i play the track Mr-Big- shine......with my sens i got shocked by it.......
  11. ceh btw guys have u try with red snake with white snake together? very good combination although the highs r a bit harsh for me... i thinking the plugs have a large significant on the powercords blacksand i need to change to 004 hehehe definetly
  12. very poisonous white snake......
  13. hmm i saw some1 at adelphi mall today... and that fella jus bought something unexpected.....after reading my post.. then went to makan and yam cha together....
  14. go for it kachui u will not regret it i sold my gpx aledi lol
  15. @Kachui & Eric Did you find the woddified HD650 changing sound signature. The BASS is picking up for some reason. Is it the wood drying with the lacquer? But anyway, I'm happy listening now. To note: I even removed the Z2 just to check if it was just the cable. But the amount of BASS was definitely there even with the Audio Agile cable. It was the Soundstage and the punchy bass missing with the cable change but the quantity is still there. Everything sounds good now from vocal tracks to my Hiphop. With the Z2 + RR-77, I feel I'm listening surround. loL! well my hd650 is now not lacking of bass ...i am quite suprised that my hd650 perform like my Beyers but with more smoother mids and more soundstage it is simply breathtaking, more powerful, energy and smoother to hear i think the woodies need burning lol aside from that, i did compare with the 2 oyaides and blacksand Z1 the Gpx-R is damm solid!!!!! crazy details and more wider soundstage + less brighter than Gpx Limited Ed... when pair with blacksand, i think i in heaven aledi.....perfectly match and very balanced... the `ting` accoustic guitar i only heard in my beyer is showing in my hd650 yeah!!!! my beyer got their mids back!!!! just bout 50 hours burn in for my oyaide another 100 hours to go...
  16. wah 4 to 5 toys in a month....omg well i got onli 3 news toys lol akg 701 modded , new powercords the tunami GPX-R edition.... , and senheiiser woodies...... hmm next month i will be in club for R-77 gang lol
