  1. Wa liao the way you describe it isn't helping the curiosity Is this going to be limited production? If it is, I got the feeling that its going to be another K1000/Sony Qualia where couple of years down ppl will be slapping their heads "WHY didn't I get it then"
  2. My god this is just cheating Come tell us how is it!
  3. We all start somewhere, then that's where we meet to poison the hell out of each other
  4. Dunno about the Iriver Spinn, but the iRiver H1x0 is superb, even right off the headphone jack.
  5. Now you'll realise you need an amp.
  6. Never tried it, but $40 seems to be quite a good deal. You can't really expect much from $40. This is about the price range of bijous, so in comparison I think its good enough.
  7. One more yammy user! Congrats on your new toy! Haha that wts couldn't have lasted long here
  8. Does it seriously differ that much?
  9. Hey can put me down too? Though I can only confirm later, lots of work these few weeks. I'll add in the toys-to-bring later
  10. Hey that would be very nice aesthetically. Based on that article, I think anything that can provide that bit of rotational freedom would work.
  11. Wa you really weren't kidding How was it? This piece seems to have a rather large spectrum of response (as in opinion). Btw how do you use it? IIRC it doesn't use a standard stax 5pin connector, but something similar to the XLR right? Pretty sweet, esp since if my bad memory doesn't confuse me it has lifetime free repair (like koss? I wonder...) @Kidult: stax for your sir? Yeah he did mod it but if I rmb correctly he played with the damping and angling of the drivers, and not the cosmetics.
  12. Yeah x2 on that. I like my ER-4, even for rock. Its really just generalization that if someone listens to a particular genre he will have a particular taste. Why can't I listen to rock AND still demand that clarity, separation, and details that ER-4 offers? Rock doesn't have to be thumping bass. Go with your favorite presentation, I'd say.
  13. No, that's not necessarily the conclusion. By: and We're just saying that for $200 bucks you can get darn good stuff. Having said that when you reach price ranges of around 250 onwards, its purely a matter of preference and hardly any real measurable performance difference. To prove my point, you can pick ANY IEM at this price range and there will be their fan clubs insisting that its the best IEM ever made by man. Ppl can point all they want at specs but at this range specs says absolutely NOTHING. So point is, go for what you like. We're just pointing out your other very good options available at this price bracket.
  14. Totally agree. Nothing like self-experiencing. And for me somehow I can't seem to appreciate anything fully outside my home, somehow listening at home is just different. Hey do share if you find something that fits. Now to find a nice piece to put on top the tyre...
