Yay biking is real fun! But really for leisure only, I'm not into the racing.

The eternal problem... But... back to it, if you scroll down that article, you see this part: (I've quoted it for easy reference) Seems interesting v interesting. From the perspectives of the more experienced, does this look promising? Now for someone to try it

Hm I can't see what's that logo... Some interesting article that I've come across: http://www.barrydiamentaudio.com/vibration.htm Anyone tried?
-
No, cause purists would call it 1.5 drivers

Yep that should be your com, I get that sometimes when my com is on very high load. You can try increasing the system priority of your player, it seems to help a bit on my com. Nope not the SRM-006tII, but that curious box at the bottom right of it

Owner of the World's Largest Record Collection

I thought that "the archive" was a really touching piece both in aspect of society's appreciation of humanity and a man's dream. I'm really impressed how someone can single-handedly build an archive which is certainly no less impressive than many museums. Let me put it this way, even if I had 50 million and a whole lifetime and that dream, I doubt I could stay focused to pursue this dream, and put together AND maintain such a momentous collection. Society's appreciation of it on the other hand... Well I guess no one's perfect. Perhaps half a century later we will be lamenting this loss of the human experience. -

I don't even need to appreciate music for it to touch me... Its like throwing away a library's archive... -

The last para hit a rather sad note in me... I think there is a certain point that a theater can be called "home". That is a cinema. -
I think the thailand 5 driver thingy is different from this one right? Nobody has ever complained that the Rolls-Royce was too big. Having said that, I still love my ER-4

New Grado PS1000 and improved i series is out
peanutbutterjam replied to ical's topic in Home Equipment
Man I can't imagine them being any more heavy. The PS-1 is already bordering on head-crushing already. Frankly I just don't understand Grado. I really think that they produce nice headphones which are easy to drive, making them pretty good out of a PMP and therefore a pretty good office or transportable solution, but why can't they just make something more comfortable. I used to own a 325i, and really its not bad, but what just made me let them go after a few weeks was the comfort. The 325i wasn't heavy, but it pinches your ears. For the amount these things cost, I'd expect at least something more in the comfort department. -
Eric, have you seen this: Link from Head-fi: (I quoted the post below for your viewing pleasure) I'm touched by its looks.

While not exactly the type of quite calm music, this is pretty uplifting and calm in a way: Wind Of Change, Scorpions and the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, Moment of Glory, Year 2000

Yeah fortunately it is. I came back from a nasty bout of monday blues... And wow. Nothing like slacking on a nice chair with your favorite track. -
Yeah I am indeed looking for a source. I'm just doing what most ppl regret afterwards: wondering. Though I find it really wierd that the manufacturer bothered to put in a stax normal, pro, koss, and HE-90 plug but no HE-60. Its just missing that one thing. Nice SRS-4040. Certainly not simple nor easy What's the box at the bottom right corner of the 2nd pic, the one below your SRM-006t2? How's the benchmark btw? Could you share what got you onto the benchmark?
-
Yep its the ultralink (not the II). Anyone heard it? Though its VERY old, and there was some good progress on DAC chips and design in the past decade.
-
Hmm interesting. What exactly is it in the musicality that the Benchmark lacks compared to the DA10?
-
Does anyone know what is this? Am looking for a nice good DAC and saw this. Thanks!

http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f42/ic-mcali...stralia-410067/ This looks like a real beauty. And it can seem to take all kinds of connectors except the HE-60. I wonder about the price range...

Could we have more teaser trailers?

Hey eric how did that benchmark perform? Another beautiful B22. He built it himself?
