  10. Good one Jig, this actually made my Monday. Hayz, a bit depressed with the destruction of flash floods in Manila which hit my home in Manila bad but totally flooded my Fiancees home to the roof. Couldn't even pick my self up listening to Michael Jackson's - Heal the World, yesterday.
  11. Ey guys, back to topic. Lol! Reminder: For those who haven't given the fee yet. Kindly do so by this weekend to close registration early. Teaser: Some Senn Love that should be a the meet. =)
  12. Waah! by any chance anyone getting this one? There is a local distributor also. lol! http://www.cryo-parts.com/sonicweld_diverter.html It's not a DAC. Just a USB to SDIF converter.
  13. Please Bring. Would be a good try for the Hf2 and for those w/ PS1s at the meet. =)
  14. No ICU for wallet. It's going 6ft under. lol! I believe Well Audio will have them locally. but you can also try snooping around ebay to look for better deals. =)
  15. Yup off-topic. post this on the Home Pics. Waah, they redefine the meaning of Audio Bling!
  16. x2 On KDS findings. After hearing a HD650 w/ a balanced black dragon cable on my Apache. The veil was almost gone. On the HD800. burn-in really helps alot on the HD800. The difference is a LOT MORE than significant. =)
  17. I have some spare. But I doubt it will be useful. the effects of the silk absorber is extreme on a headphone (remember my planned W1000 project). Just imagine using more than one Acoustic Revive RCA Plug on a CDP. That extreme.
  18. I was thinking it will just be a matter of time before mods come out. Do update us on finding Kachui. =)
  19. No worries man, Just messing with you. Lol! Wow, I can now feel exitement at the meet. Two more weeks. =)
  20. You can get a normal soldering iron and lead from some hardware shops at HDB hubs. But I would go fr better brands if possible. If you have time, try to visit Sim Lim Tower at Ronchor. they have a lot of different Soldering iron Brands to choose from. They should have good quality ones that are cheap and won't break the bank. For the Lead, I would advice trying silver solders as it is really good for audio connections. There is a significant amount of SQ I get using silver solders. I had an experience of using belden RCA ICs where one is using normal lead and one using silver solder. The silver Soldered one better. But this is my personal experience so YMMV. Some brands of silver solder I know are the Cardas Tri Eutectic/Quad eutectic Solder (Can be bought at 4th flr adelphi) & Oyaide 6n (Audio basic at Adelphi & X Audio at Bukit timah Plaza) and Kester (w/ silver no idea where to get). Hope this helps. PS: i personally don't do soldering as I suck in it. So I always have a roll at home and bring it out when i want to have it done. =)
  21. Just my opinion, it's better to have separate player and headphone so you have the advantage of being able to change either when you feel it's not for you. There a few cheap alternatives to players w/ SD card functionality. One I would recommend is the new Sansa Clip+ and also Sansa Fuze. =)
  22. I beg to disagree. Yama is still on top of my list of favorite Amps. Lol! Anyway, might ask some one if possible to bring.
