hi guys, i use an ipod classic with creative ep830 earphones when i'm on the road. If I have $200 to spend, would you: change the player, upgrade the earphones or buy a portable amp? i listen to primarily R&B, jazz & some pops... all advice appreciated... thanks

if you noticed, the rx700 from Japan are marked with the word "Victor" while those from SG are marked JVC

can the pads of both rx700 & rx900 be replaced? me in tokyo now.... tempted to buy the rx700 @ 4980yen (approx 78sgd)
