no worries dale i love eq setting to make things sound right, altho i dont use an idevice for listening but ever since u passed me the dt48a it changed my perception of sound to neutralise everything and cant relate to my previous gears

haha u can say that again dale somehow i had to position it in a weird angle to get the drivers close to my ears

yup may be true impedance is just for eqpt differences pads wise hard to obtain the super soft ones

could it be stronger magnets? thicker coils? addition of resistors?

looking at the freq graph it will be u/v shaped FR so mids may lack but best to test still may be need to check headphones gallery

those are quite new models right?

locally at stereo 290sgd if u import fr us will be 150 + 100 so not worth the trouble as well

had a listen to the famed nagras today txs maniacal71 amazing clarity and sound all just from a small sansa clip zip the super soft pads also helped alot for a full isolation

Monoprice has been known to sell cheap stuff but i wont call it cheap but its inexpensive or value for money On the earphones, Monoprice 8320 got it via mini MO in sg for 13sgd ard 430php first try woah nice sq, but how come sounds like open cans as in no isolation at all... no complains here for the price with no burn in i can safely say its worth 10-20x more the asking price listening to david guetta album, nothing but the beat its like being in the club live like sound, with just nice bass that is not muddy and definitely not thin on the bass for micro details i listen to adele`s 21 definitely surprising i can pick up tapping and people hinting her on The Red Army Choir album chimes n coughing and talking can be heard clearly in the background in some of the recordings only cons so far is isolation and may be due to the odd design comfort levels may vary coming from a tf10 this is definitely value for money, and main difference is just no isolation beats most single driver ba as well hahaha comparing to my tf10
