well some thread i read it could be due to the minerals in the magnets used hence resulting in diff sound or even all the material quality i guess

hahaha dale - yup i say it sounded interestingly gd in the reviews for the dragonfly Maniacal71 - ya its really madness dt48a i tot was already at the top of the game but dt48s is a totally step up hearing the guitar strings which i did not know even existed the test track as stated call me maybe at first i listened using the dt48a, hmm ya ok much like my dt48a (courtesy of dalethorn) then maniacal passed me his dt48s, no settings was changed but somehow everything was softer so naturally i turned up the volume, i was shocked there was even more details that can be heard ....guitar strings near the background dt48 series i have to say is just epic thanks maniacal for ur sudden appearance with loads of beautiful gear esp ur $10 headphone which is worth 10x the price

to me FR graph is rough gauge but the graph was official so can kinda believe that was what they wanna portray but ur ears are still the best judge and somehow listening to my tf10 on the way home now doesnt give the same joy as the dt48a its like the pepper was taken away from the omelette a light flavour was lost

hahaha i agree with maniacal71 tma -1 n studio looks as tho diff earpads but the official freq graph looks weird tho

things had a small bad turn today my tubes went out, not sure what went wrong luckily the O2 still around pairing it with the dt48a makes it more neutral sounding i should say but with proper sealing the bass and mid and highs are fully balanced out but having the drivers closer to the ears brings out more of the bass, advantage of having small ears and head, so just by changing the position of the headphone can bring the drivers closer to my ears

most definitely these have enough bass when worn correctly to me it deserves the crown or to be a crown n listened to

listening the dt48a now i cant thank dale enough for this babies are really true hifi and reading thru headphile for the history behind it makes the value even more than just beautiful music nothing seems to come close to true neutrality of sound as it is recorded

i have to agree most headphones are made with selling big numbers of them in mind like having the sparkle in the cymbals
