Guys, from insider, the staff price is more than S$100 but less than S$150.

USB Voltage is 5V @ 500mA max. Thus it is still can be portable used, but with external battery pack (if there is one).

While there is no built in internal battery, but still you can plug the AC adaptor and power up the X-mod via power plug to mini USB adaptor, then connect your player to the X-mod to hear the difference. My only wish is that hopefully someone will come out a rechargable battery pack for X-mod to be portable use.

If you like natural sound, you may like to try out 1212m. You will be surprise for the different sound signature between 0404 and 1212m. Warning: You may not like 1212m though you love 0404 sound.
