For that open frame stands, you've gotta ask Epos owners. I never understood it either as I've always used and liked heavy-single-pillar-filled-stands. I must agree that there is a reason for everything. But some times it's just psychological and makes the owner feel better. But HEY! If it really makes the owner feel better, definitely to him the music will sound better! Cheers!

Thanks for the input guys! Really appreciate your comments! I will be changing the pads and adding the Beyer headband too as I did find Grados rather uncomfortable last time. I will audition these 2 soon. Cheers!

For better isolation, reduce vibration, beautiful furniture, stability to hold the heavy weight of the equipment, sign of wealth.....

Is that a Densen Amp and Linn CDP I see? Expensive gear on an Ikea rack. Humble.

Hi All, I'm intending to get a SR80 or MS1 for casual listening in the night. Would this be more worthwhile getting compared to the SR80? Please advise. Cheers!

There was actually an in-depth discussion on this in another SG Audiphile forum. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post the link here. Mods?
