lekguan 0 Report post Posted September 26, 2003 Hm, how come I click the E-Quote button now, only the quote/unquote tags appear with nothing in between the 2 tags: Let me try quoting your last message: See? nothing. hmmm...
ablaze 0 Report post Posted September 26, 2003 the e-quote thing's quite misleading, it actually just puts in the tags for you so you can "quote" anything you want, not just the message you're trying to quote..
lekguan 0 Report post Posted September 26, 2003 So its still manual work. Whats the difference between the e-quote and the "quote tag" button in the quick reply box then. No difference I guess.
N@Z 0 Report post Posted September 26, 2003 Seems fairly obvious, you have to understand, the purpose is for quick quote & unquote tags for you to put in you own references & not necessarily for any particular post you are referring to on this thread for example. Say you want to quote some text from a different website. You just click on e-quote then place the text concerned inbetween. The quote will be placed in the box.
