ckng 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2011 (edited) Okay, i am really a newbie in this, but can anyone tell me what is TF 10, and what...urm reshelling them? Please explain this to me, i am really interested! TF10 is the short name for Ultimate Ear's TripleFi 10 earphones. I am not sure about the reshelling though. I guess it's to replace the original shells (casing?) that they came in? Regards CK Edited March 23, 2011 by ckng
metrablue 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2011 (edited) ckng is right, reshelling removes the original casing it is in and place the driver in a custom mould. Currently there's a few Companies doing remoulds, and Unique Melody (UM) is one of them. Dont worry too much about remoulding yet, find urself a good earphone/headphone and start enjoying the music.. =) Edited March 23, 2011 by metrablue
ProfessorOak 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2011 oohhh! so Unique Melody only reshell TF10's earphone?
metrablue 0 Report post Posted March 26, 2011 UM remoulds most armature driver earphones (e.g. shure westone and UE). There are companies that reshell dynamic drivers as well, but I'm not too sure of that. Someone might wanna chip in. =)
