My first CD as mentioned in this thread was Belinda Carlilse Heaven On earth album. Pop music at it's best. Bought it in Glasgow, Scotland. Provocative image courtesy of amazon.com My first MD was Gomez - Bring it on. Very good sound recording, they won the Technics best band award or something. Got it in UK. My first Vinyl was a 12" single from Pete Wiley - Sinful. New age pop. No image available from amazon. Its over at my parents house so I can't scan it either to show you. My first cassette is the Police - Zenyatta Mondatta. It was one of those 'liscenced' copies from Indonesia & it included some tracks from 'Ghosts in the machine too' So effectively it was 1 1/2 albums in 1. Huge fan of their music up till now & still a big fan of Sting who has that unique vocal which is reminiscent of his past.
