N@Z 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2004 I don't want to tempt fate but... after backing up & deleting all my stored data onto CD-R the problem with the screen seems to have gone. Although I haven't been using it much lately, it has been in standby mode since the last 2 days & using iTunes & iPhotos only.
N@Z 0 Report post Posted May 21, 2004 Not specifically for a Mac but I didn't want to start a new thread about it. A very useful tool to access your Yahoo acount via pop3 free: YahooPOP I've downloaded it but haven't tried it yet. You can download the Linux, Mac, Windows or Sun Solaris version (whatever that is!). Good luck! Oh incedently, the ongoing saga of my powerbook screen continues... the problem still exists sadly. headphonecrazy 0 Report post Posted May 22, 2004 OT: Can anyone help me on this? I've got a old PowerBook 3400 that seriously needs a OS update, but the problem is I've lost the original disk. It was on 8.6 originally but that was misplaced. Currently the 8.6 traditional chinese OS on the system but I would prefer the US version. Anyone knows where to get them? I've tried OS9.1 but it did not work with it. HELP!
