In which case, I highly favour CD17MKIII and U can actually take your time to decide on choice of amps for Marantz cdps yield pretty good sound from their headphone sockets. As such, U can familiarise the sound of your present cans and new source and when the time is ripe, it will put U in good stead in the search for an amp.
