augustineRS 0 Report post Posted June 4, 2004 Hi all, I'm looking for a pda. Basically I need to view excel, Words, pdf files on the go. Mp3 playback is on my list too. I think colour screen is by default now(?) I prefer Palm OS. My budget will be S$300-350 for used or new. Wireless lan is a definate plus since i'll be able to use round campus Another qns, is it true that Sony Clie series, with the magic stick, the mp3 player have difficulty playing back unlicensced mp3s? N3w_Typ3 0 Report post Posted June 4, 2004 don't aim PDA from sony unless you are willing to pay a nice price for it cos it is pretty expensive !! i would recommend you to get Tungsten plam PDA .. it very good >>! here the Webby Tungsten plamone i think sO ! ya and please get plam OS 5 and above cos you can upgrade the OS if you want at a later stage !if it was plam 4 and below you have to consider 3 times ... cos you cannot upgrade the OS! can't remember did it support wi-fi ! and i am very sorry about this !... me Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
lekguan 0 Report post Posted June 5, 2004 My friend has a tungsten E. Its quite good, except the software not too stable and can hang sometimes, so you need to do a hard reset.
