Recommended Posts

Specs of cable

Canare Cable (L2T2S Microphone Cable)

Conductor : Stranded tinned copper

Insulation : Colour coded Polyethylene

Jacket : Black Matte PVC

Termination: Neutrik 1/4" male stereo phono plug

Temperature : -49C to +80C

Shield : 94% Tinned copper braid shield

Applications : Canare L2T2S Series cable is a standard 2 conductor microphone cable intended for general audio applications. These cables use the same high-density braided shield as STAR QUAD cable, and provide superior rejection of hum, noise and radio interference. Cables are super flexible and can even be used in sub-zero environments.

Please pm me on the length required. Here's the cost breakdown:

Termination + female 1/4" phono plug + Neutrik 1/4" male plug = $15.50;

Cable = S$2.70/meter (updated on Oct 17, 2005)

possible to get a 1/8 female to 1/4 male?

Mackie answers: He doesn't use 1/8" plugs in his line of work. Thus he could only terminate 1/4". Also doubtful if the cable can be used on smaller plugs as it's not thin........about the size of interconnect cables. U could use a 1/8">1/4" converter plug which can be easily gotten.

Sorry, might sound odd. Any pictures of the finished product? Can collect at Yew Tee right? Coz I live at Yew Tee. tongue.gif

Mackie answers: No pictures dude but it's well done. If U're interested I gotta check on prices of the cable as most have gone up owing to pricier copper prices in the metals market.
