Sky Juice 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2005 zen, 1st album is Fugazi's " The Argument" 5th album is Godspeed You Black Emperor's "Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas To Heaven" You nailed them both just about right Wil (let's see if you can do the same with these gems below!) Cannot get enough of SkinnyFists...STorm and ANTENNA OMFG GYBE is EPIC to say the least. They start of slow slowly grinding an explosive finale. And i managed to get a copy of YANQUI from Borders a couple wks back.Gonna give this one a few spins. Fugazi is a awesome for stickin to their roots, playing the great underground punk. Aight...more great music to discover and RE-discover with my grados (esp the last album, need a headphone to fully appreciate)

wil 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2005 ops that's the 6th album ya...lol. is GYBE's f#a# (infinity symbol) is Yanqui U.X.O., again by GYBE. is My Morning Jacket's "It Still moves" and is "Z", My Morning Jacket's latest release. Lastly, is The Mars Volta's "Frances the Mute" , if u like this album check out the album before this, Deloused in the Comatorium which is very good, or even better than Frances the mute. I've got a few recommendations myself.... Try - "The Postal Service - Give Up" "New Pornograhpers" Anyone of their 3 albums, but i did recommmend Twin Cinema or Electric Version to start off with. Spoon - Gimme Fiction Sky Juice has "Girls Can Tell", by Spoon too and it's supposedly very good as well....

Last i checked they are all sold out, except for Yanqui. MMJ's It Still Moves is also sold out last i checked.Z hasnt even arrived to my knowledge - and i'm looking for this one. I've only managed to *cough* 'preview' *cough* it. Mars Volta is relatively easy to find. Grama..HMV...MJ...should stock them all. Spoon's GF is a strong release this year. One of the better albums of 05. Girls Can Tell is -IMO- the clear choice album to get into them among their discog. Got mine last year over at Borders as well Like all stores, better make a before makin the trip down. p.s DCFC > postal
