Kippei 0 Report post Posted October 10, 2005 The auntie's son told me, new stock of 50k Blue Alps is in. 100k is going to be in also. It only cost $15. But it look kinda fake from the real thing
ckng 0 Report post Posted October 10, 2005 Considering that Well Audio sells the 100K for $20 and RS Electronics sell the 50K for $35, $15 sounds kinda dubious... how do one tell the fakes from the reals anyway? Regards CK
Kippei 0 Report post Posted October 10, 2005 I understand that retailer like RS and farnell always jack up their price quite a lot. So $15 for a 50K is still pretty ok. I wanna try it out but i have no use for a blue alps now lest i build another amp.
Kippei 0 Report post Posted October 10, 2005 In my opinion, from what i saw, i think the one selling at koba might be a fake. From what i source from the net. Alps have pin numbers stated, silver screws, sticker over a hollow and longer thread for mount. Whereas, the one at koba, no pin number only RH27,black screw, solid sticker no hollow and a shorter screw panel for mounting.
