clearbluesky 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2005 My Sony EX-71 just gave way. One side just died. I always find EX-71 a little tiny bit muddy on bass, and fairly harsh on treble. Prior I was using E888, very tight bass n treble, but not in-ears. Any model that marries both qualities? Any ear adapters to convert non-in-ears to become in-ears? Any recommendation guys? From audio-technica, creative, panasonic or philips perhaps?
1bit 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2005 well you can try these earjams i wonder if it'll affect the sound in anyway not sure if it'll fit your e888 though
Absolute0 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2005 (edited) You might want to look at the Shure and Etymotic Research canalphones. Used ones might fit your budget. Or if you are willing to stretch your budget a little to get them new, IMHO the isolation coupled with reasonable sound quality is worth the additional dough. the_vibe 0 Report post Posted December 6, 2005 dude...u shud try "Philips HE571" in-ear headphones... tight in bass & treble. very good quality n cheap headphones 26 SGD (u can get em for just 22$ in philips service center). I just spoiled my pair of HE571...so tried Philips SBCHS415 Neckband Headphones, but not as good as HE571. HE571 (turbo bass) is one of the best one i'v used. u can also try philips models like HE570, SHE775,SHE785 which r quite similar to 571 HE571 Specifications: Type - Dynamic Acoustic System - Open Magnet Circuit - Neodymium Voice Coil - CCAW Speaker Size - 15mm Frequency Range : 8 - 24,000 Hz Impedance Speaker Element - 16 Ohm Sensitivity - 108 dB Maximum Power Input - 50mW Type of Cord - OFC Cord Connection - Two-parallel, Asymmetric
