Ok - thanks squalle. I will get the parts myself from Farnell. I appreciate your willingness to help me. I hope there will be others in this forum who are doing the PINT and know you have spare parts and can get from you.

I am too busy this and next week to meet you. Work comes first, sad but true. ohmy.gif

I don't mind getting the resistors from you if you don't mind sending them to me by post. E-mail me cost for the 4 sets of whatever you can spare and I will send you my address, thanks.

For DIYers interested in ordering parts for themselves from Farnell, here is a list I compiled:

Notes:

- the order numbers are for Farnell in SG.

- Farnell sells the smd resistors in packs of 50 only

- the electrolytic cap which can be purchased in SLS or Koba is not included

- other parts like the pot or sockets which are from other sources are not included

- the values for R3 and R4 are for gain of 3 (The parts in the brackets for R3 and R4 are for the amb mod which replaces C1 with a 1K resistor for lower noise - up to you to select which you use)

Farnell warehouse in SG actually not big, so most stuff are kept in USA or UK warehouse. When we order, if not stocked here in SG, they will send from either location. So got to take time to fly here and then re-pack etc.

I look at it this way. If not for Farnell, I will have to order from USA Mouser or Digikey and pay extra for freight.

Anyway good things always take time... biggrin.gifbiggrin.gif

hmm

i'm not complaining abt those not in stock

But, those things that are in stock, they're still late in delivering

and you know what, to my horror, the package was delivered, but to my neighbour

the lady next door passed it to me in the morning

how can a courrier pass a package to my neighbour? what was he/she thinking?

and no, my address is NOT wrong.

farnell is unreliable to say the least

maybe I shd just pay the extra difference and get everything from RS components

yea, I'll just do that the next time

I know I aint big customer, but that's just not the way doing business

Didn't know about delivery experience from Farnell is so lousy. Normally I collect from trade counter as it is near my office. Sorry to hear about your experience, so you now can start on your PINT?
