Blues 0 Report post Posted August 1, 2003 mychew: AKG K501 sounds good for that range. Might have to hunt for 2nd hand pair though. get creek obh-11 amp, at least. Or you can ask fellow member to build meta or something. The creek , I reckon is a good match with AKG because AKG is a little bass shy,and creek is warm and has the low end punch. wortel: don't you already have the AKG? if you're talking about portable. Then go for koss ksc-35, if you can get them. If not the others like ksc-55/50 are fine. I personally like ksc-35 best because it isn't too tight and has good bass.
