aloy 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2006 what does it do? absorb moist for headphones?
Mackie 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2006 Selica absorbs moisture indiscrimately. U can use it for anything and anywhere and in this case, to minimise moisture buildup in the place of headphone storage.

zhapchit 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2006 If humidity is of a big concern to you.. should consider getting a electrical dry box instead. You can store your CDs and headphones inside. You can get these at Carrefour or those big camera stores like Cathay Photo, Alan Photo etc.

You can get these at Carrefour or those big camera stores like Cathay Photo, Alan Photo etc. Fungi won't appear unless you keep your equipment in dark storage for very long. Using your equipment is the best way to keep your items fungi free as UV light helps deter fungi growth.
ahdui 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2006 i was thinking to got those in packet form to use for absorbing moist while i keep them in the case. any idea where to get it ?
aaron-xp 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2006 You could buy a big bottle and put them into teabags (read this somewhere in the forum)... Otherwise, you could always use some products which have the silica gel pakaged together... Sun the gel when it becomes over-saturated, so that you may use it again. zhapchit 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2006 I've seen some photo labs selling those small boxed version, about the size of a portable amp. But it's more worth it to get the bottled type.

Nu_Omega 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2006 Lippon tea bags minus off the tea leaves should do the trick.
