as long as you have taken part, there will be a token of appreciation.

 

Solo Entry = 1st Column

Pairs/Teams = 2nd Column

 

eg: if the Mr A(solo) won the best concept award, he gets the ESI nEars 04.

if Pair/Group X won the best concept award, they get the UM1 and sf3.

 

Terms and Conditions

1) Be a registered member of SGHeadphones.

2) Printout the application form, fill them up and put them in the submission box right beside the glass door in Jaben. (done by ahdui & [Top-Gun])

3) Immediate Family members of Jaben Network are not permitted.

4) Members of the trade are not permitted.

 

 

-Limited to 1 entry per category. (... may do 1 submission in Solo/Team Category with 1 Visionary Category)

-Points will be penalised for usage of after-market products. (modding of available products;to promote creativity)

-The Headphone Stands must be structually stable.

-Electronics can be implemented (sensors, swicthes, motors,LEDs and etc) - this will promote the use of technology

-There is no limit to the number of headphones the stand can hold on to

-Points will be awarded for cable management system

-Points will be awarded for Worksmanship (clean and nice finish)

-Participants should submit a Theme/Name for their design product.

-Points will be awarded for Originality

-existing designs posted in websites and forum are discouraged

 

Explanation for "Visionary Award" Category:

-There is no need to build the artifact out

-Participants should submit their designs in A3 sizes printout

-It can either be hand-drawn or done by software (autocad,photoshop & etc)

-Designs shld include the 3D,side and top view.

-Points will be awarded for detailed/clear presentation

I would like to salute to unkle wilson for the generosity for sponsoring those prizes.

 

With this support & encouragement for the contest, it may be a start for the diy & modders community to storm their creativity side & who knows one might comes out with an innovative product that can market to the world.

 

It may not be now but you never know in the future, as long as there is a chance given with more of this kinda contest. Hope to see more of other contests coming in our way & in this forum.

Whoa nice contest... If only my technical skills were better I might try this since a stand would be rather neat for my MS1. I think i'll stick with a ready made banana stand.
