Nano Line Out Dock...

 

whats the difference between the sound out from the dock & the normal phone jack?

btw, how to rip cd into lossless format using the itune?

ok... there is belt hole behind the silicon case so i make use of it... later i take pics for you... time to eat... haha

 

 

i used the belt hole too... but like i say... the ipod too heavy

will stretch the silicone case

hmm i duno how to describe leh

line out audio is constant while the headphone jack is variable

of cos constant is better... then u can "amp" it, tweak it, tune it... watever u wan...

 

in itunes when cd is detected

right click the track u wan to rip

select "convert to apple lossless"

i was thinking to cut the velcro by 1/2 its width

make 2 out of 1 velcro to secure the part btn screen and click wheel

and the part below click wheel

 

I think you should get the velcro without the buckle so you can cut the width. Small width will also mean lesser area for support. I'm not sure if you can get a secure the Nano with the 2 velcros, I thought about that before for the structural and look factor. Velcro band is also may also suffer split ends.

AH!!!!!!!! i know why liao... my velcro too thin

ur velcro quite broad in terms of width therefore can hold it better...

I only have "convert selection to AAC".

When using line out, the sound produced would be at maximum volume of the ipod. I dun think there is a diff. in the volume.

Now you're confused. He meant the 2 Velcro wraps around his Nano. One below the screen and above the click wheel, the other is under the click wheel. Not 2 velcro wraps together through the silicon skin.

line out on ipod is outputing the vol at 0db. on linout, you can't adjust the vol so that is where amps comes in

 

Open iTunes. follow my steps

on tab bar, edit preference> advance tab > importing tab> select import using Apple Lossless Encoder and click ok.

now the song, highlight it and click convert to Apple Lossless Format

because post 88 said i used velcro but the silicone case will be dangling due to weight of nano

can advise?

 

so i assume he tried my way but cannot work so he is looking at alternative way which is over the nano
