xenocide 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2006 sorry. i'll next time. because i'm use to using the fast reply option wah sianz... i give up... better off buy a hard case (can open type), permanently hav it stuck on the amp so when i need it to be portable i can take it out, out in the silicone sleeve and out i go else if i'm going sch, i can open the hard case and slot my nano in... dats all i can think off now... zonalblitz_audio 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2006 Hard case! You may try but remember to add paddings to the case and learn how to manage your interconnect. And if you do not switch your tracks often during play, I see that it's a good idea if you don't mind the size factor. Have fun!
theory_87 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2006 i'm looking at aluminium casing for my 1st Gen nano http://auctions.yahoo.com/sg/i:Brand%20New...0Case:118457620 think of using velco sticking it to amp. silicon can't stick

Have fun! how about being kiasu abit directly dump the ipod in silicone case inside hardcase? haha save the trouble from removing in and out of the "condom"
zonalblitz_audio 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2006 Haha! It might work. However, my main concern is that don't you find the nano and amp jumping in the box as you travel with it? Having padding will dampen the noise produced.
xenocide 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2006 Ok... been trying and finally settled for this solution. 1. cut the silicon case belt loop to expose Nano back body 2. stick 2 layers of "anti slip" mat with double sided tape 3. WOALA! Time to sleep!

zonalblitz_audio 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2006 Anyway, just curious. Is there enough space for headphone jack with the interconnect on the Pa2v2?
xenocide 0 Report post Posted October 3, 2006 omg, the interconnector are really huge . Canare F12 plugs custom made by SE Yea! They are huge. Do give us a review of how the modification you done perform to you! Haha! ok ok sure sure... today 1st day oni... used this setup for my ZVM previously the double sided tape holds pretty strong (not those 3M foam type) now becos it sits on 2 "anti slip" mat... between mat to mat is another layer of double sided tape directly stuck on the back of ipod the silicon skin surface too smooth, cannot stick the tape... morning train ride, rig in pouch in bag... survived trip without dropping. xenocide 0 Report post Posted October 3, 2006 Anyway, just curious. Is there enough space for headphone jack with the interconnect on the Pa2v2? no worries... i can plug the IC side by side on the input and output of the PA2v2. so do you think have enough space?
