does the 716 require a powerful source? i remember reading about difference ohm things when switching between the 2 modes?

It's harder to drive than the UE's and the westones, but its fairly possible to be driven from most DAPs

u can try armature(sp??) driver IEMs if u dun wanna carry an amp around... heard tt they do well without amps...

(ps... i heard abt this frm head-fi... not sure if itz true... pros do comment ya??)

izzit?? i din.. haha noob..

 

i've always have the impression that armature drivers require minimum current to drive...

so theoretically a amp is unnecessary unless u wanna colour ur sound..

 

and also armature drivers benefit v minimal frm burning in...

 

correct me if im wrong thou...

would like to learn more...
