Just look for something with a line-out for future use with an amp as it may struggle to drive the K-501 from the headphone out. My D-EJ925 was 3/4 way up the volume on some classical & jazz music driving the HD600 (This was when I was in London when I first bought them & I didn't have an amp yet).
