GTMGTM 0 Report post Posted November 18, 2006 (edited) Hi, Currently using a UM1 and would like to upgrade to either UM2 or ER-4P or E4C. FYI, music I listened are Jazz, Classical, Vocal, Instrumental. May I know which shop, SE or Jaben Networks which allow me to audit the 3 IEM's? Which shop SE or Jaben Networks will provide a better pricing? Edited November 18, 2006 by GTMGTM
aaron-xp 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2006 I'm not sure if SE has the etymotics on display, but I think Jaben has them. UM2 and E4 should be available in both places.

GTMGTM 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2006 Thanks Guys, Looklike have to head to Jaben, but, I am not very sure whether their prices are competitive as compared to SE. Any Advice on the current prices of the 3 IEM?
aaron-xp 0 Report post Posted November 20, 2006 The only thing is that the ER4 is much cheaper online. The hassle (and danger) of shipping, however, probably evens it out.
sHaRkKaE 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2006 Um2 @ SE is 439, @ jaben is 450..not sure about discounts though

My future(2 more weeks) ER4p costs only less than $270. That means Singapore ER4p warranty costs about $200.
aaron-xp 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2006 It's more of the danger of shipping. If the unit happens to be faulty, you'll have to send it back. If it so happens that the next unit is faulty, you'll have to do the same. Some prefer it fast.

If they keep sending faulty units then there is no point paying less...lol... u'll just keep spending time sending the IEM back there...
