ES1 the most unappreciated custom

Braxton... instead of helping him decide, you're actually adding another choice.. haha..

 

erm.. ES2 is a good start in customs, should it gets faulty due to wear and tear and upgraditis hits you again, you can then consider UE10pro..

 

Oh ya, you should also look into the costs of repairing these phones if they give up on you.. Sensa 2X-S, for example, is quite infamous for having a short lifespan of 1.5-2years due driver problems partly because it has a soft silicon ear moulds.

 

from what i heard,Sensa has changed their cable to a more durable one.

and someone has said this before 'nothing lasts forever'

To clear some misconceptions, the UE10pro does not sound like the ER4P at all. I own both the ER4S and ER4B and have tried the P and they do not even sound similar to the UE10pro with custom earmoulds or without.

 

Okay, that was both helpful and unhelpful.

The misconception has been cleared, but now I'm just dying to know how the 10Pro sounds.

second that wonder how the best Custom sounds but i also dieing to know how well

ES1 fare with my E4c or Im716 (which i like the sound but high impedence na...)

for customs,people normally talk about ES2,UE10pro,2X-S,and sometimes ES3.

and some ppl said that ES1 is not for normal listening also

some ppl really mess 1 and 3 up :S

 

and i search sensa's 2x-s seems like its very comfy and quite nicely made too

but dunno the price

Btw Xiaocatz, I noticed your poll in this forum, personally I feel that you shouldn't let other people influence your decision when it comes to custom IEMS, in the end of the day you are gonna listen to it yourself and live with it for quite some time.

yup but juz asking for some recommandation to ease my mind

cause lots of ppl said Er6i/um2 is good but one is too analytical for me and the other is too boomy... so it really has to come down to my ears and personal taste

 

p.s really hope that i can ask my ears if it will like ES1 so that i can save money lol

if i have the money,i would consider getting Sensaphonics 3D Ambient System.

they claimed that the dual drivers offer 12dB of isolation more than 2X-S which is 37dB. (while single driver 6dB more)

 

i guess,such monitor is used for on stage perfermance.but i am curious how does it sound compare to the top notches of IEM since it's a 3D.

lol plug your 2x-s to your pc (if u're using creative soundcards only!) and switch CMSS 3D on and vala !
