Wortel 0 Report post Posted August 1, 2003 I love my EQ . I can't live without it. I cant stand stuff too bright. I want a source with smooth highs.
Blues 0 Report post Posted August 1, 2003 no... I never touch them I listen to what my source(soundcard) has got to offer. I don't really believe in those cheapo eq-ing(no offense)... But those hi-end few ks equaliser might be different.. I don't know I haven't tested.
Wortel 0 Report post Posted August 1, 2003 bad boy Blues. EQs are a great way to bring out the best from your music and cans.
Blues 0 Report post Posted August 1, 2003 wortel: eq that comes with your soundcard and those software like can be found on winamp's.. all are sh*tte... believe me.. I used to live by eq-ing. but eversince I got the dt770pro last time, and hooking to the creek obh-11... they only reveal their limit and flaws... my beyer sounds quite nice for a while.. but after a while they sound very unnatural.. the natural sound seems to collapse and mix together.. very hard to say. I off it and sound so much nicer and natural. Even audiophile don't really play with eq. EVEn if they do, they only tweak very very slightly. They don't live by tweaking because it can never reach the same standard with the real equipment matching and all...
