branzzz 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2008 there are three gain settings on the rear of the p2. i'm using the tf10pros with these and stereo told me usually people will use the lowest or mid gain on the tf10s. on mid, i find i'm not hearing much details and the amp cannot go loud enough for some tracks. i am currently listening with the switch set at largest circle. is this how is it supposed to be? there's no way i'm listening to the smallest circle setting on these. it will be far too soft. Guest dragonboy Report post Posted January 24, 2008 I think the reason why stereo recommend u to set on the low & mid gain coz the 10pro may pick up some background hiss if the gain is high since it is a pretty sensitive earphones. Of course there's no harm setting it to high & hear if u can accept it. If u can't, I'll suggest u to change the opamp.
