imjustakid 0 Report post Posted May 27, 2008 120 bucks, decent isolation, good sound: give the AKG K81DJ/K518DJ a try hmm, alright. i've been checking up on these models. the UM1 and 2 are seriously too expensive. i do mind getting a second hand set, just don feel good bout it. i think imma check out some IEMs first before deciding on getting headphones or not. thanks guys! Singapura 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2008 wouldn't recommend any mylars after my personal experience .... Broke downn three times in 6 months!! Never happened to any of my earphones. Not even the creative or sony. I don't know what you did with your Mylars but I still have my first pair (actually I have three pairs for gaming purposes) and they are fine. SQ wise they are the best you can buy for the money. I like the Koss Portapro headphones as well for use with my laptop.

Guest dragonboy Report post Posted May 30, 2008 You should try the NEW philips flagship 9850 inner ear earphones. I felt that the CK7 sounds bit too bright and sharp for my taste.

Fizban 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2008 The new Philips 9850 is gooooooood! More so than i expected. Warm, but bass a bit muffled, but not obvious if u are not already used to nice pieces like klipsch image or atrio m5
[J]-ohn 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2008 Klipsch image is not bad... but wires feel rather weak.
peanutbutterjam 0 Report post Posted December 6, 2008 Eh the Klipsch Image is quite good, but its not cheap either. For that kind of price point I got other things in mind IMO.
